When you use LogSense, we collect information you provide directly to us, such as when you create an account, use our AI-powered log analysis features, or contact us for support. This includes your name, email address, and AWS CloudWatch log data that you choose to analyze through our platform.
We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve our AI-powered log analysis services. This includes processing your natural language queries, generating optimized log queries, and providing intelligent insights about your AWS infrastructure. We also use your information to communicate with you about our services and provide customer support.
To deliver our log analysis services, LogSense needs read-only access to your AWS CloudWatch data. We request an IAM role with read-only permissions specifically for CloudWatch Logs and CloudWatch Metrics. During the setup process, you'll provide IAM access keys with these limited permissions, which allows our platform to securely retrieve your logs and metrics for analysis and insights. Important: We only request read-only access and never require write permissions to your AWS infrastructure. You maintain full control and can revoke access at any time through your AWS IAM console.
Your security is our top priority. We implement industry-standard security measures including AES-256 encryption for data at rest and TLS 1.3 encryption for data in transit. Your IAM access keys are encrypted using AWS KMS and stored securely in isolated environments. We follow AWS Well-Architected Framework security best practices and conduct regular security audits. Your log data is processed using state-of-the-art LLM technology with strict privacy controls—we never use your data to train AI models or share it with third parties. We never store your AWS credentials permanently and only use them to establish secure, temporary sessions.
We retain your log analysis data only as long as necessary to provide our services or as required by law. You have the right to access, export, modify, or delete your data at any time. You can also revoke our access to your AWS CloudWatch data through your account settings or by removing the IAM permissions. Upon account deletion, we permanently remove all your data within 30 days. For data deletion requests or to exercise your rights, please contact us at support@logsense.org.
We use trusted third-party services to deliver our platform, including cloud hosting providers and AI/LLM services for log analysis. These partners are contractually obligated to maintain the confidentiality and security of your data. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information or log data with third parties for their marketing purposes.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal, operational, or regulatory reasons. We will notify you of any material changes by email or through a prominent notice on our platform. Your continued use of LogSense after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy or wish to exercise your data rights, please contact us at support@logsense.org. We're committed to addressing your concerns and protecting your privacy.
